Account Details & Upgrade or Cancel

Managing your Contractor Foreman subscription—from viewing essential account information to initiating upgrades or cancellations—is handled exclusively through the Account Details section. This centralized area ensures that only authorized personnel, specifically the primary contact, can make critical changes, safeguarding your plan’s integrity while providing transparent insights into billing, usage, and status. Whether you’re scaling your team with a higher tier or preparing to wind down, this feature streamlines administrative tasks, applying adjustments with prorated fairness to align with your business needs.

Accessing Account Details

The Account Details section is tucked away in the Settings module, designed for quick reference by the account’s primary contact. This placement keeps sensitive subscription controls separate from everyday project tools, promoting focused management without cluttering your workflow.

  1. Open the Menu. The Menu serves as your platform’s navigational backbone, offering one-tap access to all modules and configurations from any screen.

  2. Select Settings. Entering Settings unlocks a comprehensive dashboard for personalization, where account-wide options like subscriptions are organized for efficient oversight.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page to locate the Subscription Details section. Positioned at the page’s base, the Subscription Details section appears only for the primary contact, ensuring unauthorized users cannot view or alter plan information— a key security measure that prevents accidental modifications.

If you’re not the primary contact, this section remains hidden, redirecting you to contact the designated admin for any subscription-related inquiries.

Reviewing Available Information

Once in Subscription Details, a snapshot of your account’s core metrics unfolds, empowering informed decisions on growth or adjustments. This display consolidates vital data points, eliminating the need to cross-reference emails or external billing portals.

The Account Details section typically includes:

  • Current subscription plan, outlining your tier’s features and limits. This confirms your access level, such as user caps or advanced modules, helping you assess if it’s still a fit for your operations.

  • Renewal date and billing frequency, showing when the next charge hits and whether it’s monthly or annual. Visibility here aids in budgeting, especially for seasonal businesses planning cash flow around renewals.

  • Number of active users and usage limits, tracking how close you are to your quota. Monitoring this prevents surprises, like hitting a user ceiling mid-project, and flags opportunities for upgrades.

  • Payment method status, indicating if your card is on file and up to date. A quick health check that avoids interruptions from expired details.

  • Account creation date, marking your tenure with the platform. Useful for eligibility checks on promotions or loyalty perks tied to longevity.

  • Primary contact designation, verifying who’s in control. This reinforces accountability, as only this role can trigger changes.

  • Links to administrative actions, such as Upgrade or Cancellation Request. These gateways connect directly to forms, streamlining transitions without leaving the platform.

Note that the exact layout may adapt based on your plan’s specifics or billing setup, ensuring relevance without overwhelming details.

Upgrading Your Account

When your business outgrows its current tier—perhaps needing more users or premium features—the upgrade path is intuitive and immediate. This process recalculates costs on the fly, crediting unused time to make switching seamless and equitable.

If eligible, an Upgrade option materializes within Subscription Details. Here’s how it unfolds:

  1. Select the Upgrade option. This reveals a curated list of higher plans, each with breakdowns of added value like expanded storage or integrations.

  2. Choose your new tier from the available options. Plans scale logically— from basic to unlimited users—tailored to construction firms of any size, with previews of what’s unlocked.

  3. Confirm the selection. The system processes the change right away or queues it for the next cycle, applying prorated adjustments: you’ll pay only for the upgraded portion post-renewal, with credits for any overpayment on the old plan.

This frictionless escalation keeps your workflow uninterrupted, instantly granting access to enhanced tools upon approval.

Submitting a Cancellation Request

Deciding to part ways with Contractor Foreman? The cancellation workflow prioritizes clarity and confirmation, walking you through reasons and next steps to ensure it’s the right call—while preserving your data for potential reactivation.

For the primary contact, a Cancellation Request button sits prominently in Subscription Details. Proceed as follows:

  1. Select the Cancellation Request option. This launches a guided form, prompting details like your reason (e.g., budget shifts or tool migration) to help the team refine services.

  2. Complete all required fields in the form. Essential inputs might include confirmation of data export needs or final billing queries, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

  3. Submit the request. Upon hitting send, it enters a structured review queue, typically processed within business days, with confirmation emails at each stage.

Supplementary Notes

Access to these controls is strictly for the primary contact—if that’s not you, coordinate with them to avoid delays. Before upgrades or cancellations, update the primary contact if needed to maintain smooth handoffs. Real-time billing syncs might lag slightly due to processor delays, so cross-check statements post-change. For reactivations or mid-process questions, support stands ready; always export key data beforehand to safeguard project histories. Upgrades and cancellations reflect in your dashboard instantly, but test new features promptly to maximize value.
