Creating a New Punchlist

Contractor Foreman helps you create a powerful and easy to use Punchlist for keeping track of those incomplete items that need attention at each phase of your project. You can assign Punchlist items to individual companies or people and email them their own Punchlist right from Contractor Foreman.

To save your work click either the Submit button or the blue check mark box in the upper right hand corner.

To modify an existing record click the green Pencil icon in the upper right hand corner.

Adding a Punchlist:

Go to main menu and select Punchlists. Required Fields are marked with an asterisk (*.)

Fill out the project from the Drop Down, then assign it a status. Do not set to Archive until all items have been completed.

The Generated by field will auto populate based on login info from the system.

Punchlist # will also auto populate.

Next step is to add new Punchlist items. Click the blue Add Item to Punchlist button. In the pop up box fill out the fields for:

Area: Where the item is located: Example: Bath #2, SW Corner of Room #204 or Emergency Exit Signage. Good detail here is important.

Completion Date: This is the date you need the item completed by.

Assigned To: Use the drop down to select the company responsible. Tip: If item requires more than one company to fix, create additional items for each company. This allows for better tracking on which items are 100% complete or not.

Description: Write as detailed of a description here as possible as this will help the responsible party know what they need to do to fix it.

Punchlist Item Image: Add photos from your phones camera or from a gallery of photos already on your phone. You can add multiple images.

Click confirm at bottom of screen and then repeat the process to add multiple Punchlist Items.

To save your work click either the Submit button or the blue check mark box in the upper right hand corner.

To modify an existing record click the green Pencil icon in the upper right hand corner.
