Bulk Action Toolbar in Estimates

The Q4 2025 release introduces a new Bulk Action Toolbar within the Estimates module, designed to significantly reduce the time required to manage and update estimate line items. This enhancement allows users to modify multiple items simultaneously, eliminating the need for repetitive, item-by-item edits when applying the same change across several rows.

When more than one estimate item is selected, the Bulk Action Toolbar automatically appears and opens a focused editing panel. Rather than exposing all editable fields at once, users first select which field they want to modify. This approach reduces the risk of accidental changes while maintaining speed and precision. Supported fields include item name, cost code, quantity, unit cost, unit, and assignee.

Once a value is applied, the update is immediately reflected across all selected items. There is no delay, batch processing step, or additional confirmation screen. This makes the feature particularly effective when refining pricing, updating assignments, or correcting quantities on larger estimates. Bulk editing is currently available exclusively within the Estimates module and serves as the foundation for similar functionality planned in future updates.
