Can I show my project schedule (Gantt items) on my Crew Schedule?

You cannot display every individual task from your Gantt Schedule on the Crew Schedule. However, tasks assigned to employees or contractors who are included in the Crew Schedule can appear there automatically.

How It Works

1. Assign the Task in the Gantt Schedule

• From the Main Menu, go to Schedule and open the Gantt view.
• Open the task you want to assign. In the task details, use the following fields:
• Assigned Contractors & Contacts – Select the contractor or contact responsible for the task.
• Employees – Select the employee assigned to the task.
  
  For example, in the screenshot above, Rob Ford is assigned as a contractor and Arthur Christian is assigned as an employee.

2. View the Assignment in Crew Schedule

• Once the task is assigned to an employee or contractor who is included in the Crew Schedule, the assignment can appear under that crew member in the Crew Schedule Module.
• The task will show according to its scheduled dates and will help you see what each crew member is expected to work on.
  

  Important Notes

• You cannot display every Gantt task automatically on the Crew Schedule.
• The task must be assigned to an employee or contractor who is included in the Crew Schedule.
• Gantt tasks that appear in the Crew Schedule cannot be edited from the Crew Schedule.
• If you need to change, reassign, or delete a Gantt-based task, make the change directly in the Gantt Schedule.
• Changes made to the task in the Gantt Schedule will be reflected in the Crew Schedule

• For the best results, make sure employees and contractors are assigned consistently when creating or editing Gantt tasks. This keeps your Gantt Schedule and Crew Schedule synchronized and makes it easier to track work assignments.
