Can my clients designer or architect have access to the client portal?

Yes. You can give a client’s designer, architect, or other additional contact access to the Client Portal for a project. Multiple Client Portal users can be added to the same project, and each user can be assigned either Full Access or Read Only Access.

How to Give a Designer or Architect Client Portal Access

1. Open the Customer’s Profile
2. Go to the Directory.
3. Locate and open the Customer’s profile.
4. Click the Edit (green pencil) button.

Add the Designer or Architect

1. Scroll down to the Additional Contacts section.
2. Click Add Additional Contact.

Once you have clicked on the “Add Additional Contact”, a small window will pop up. Here you will enter the information pertaining to the Designer or Architect who then can have access to the Client Access.

Give the Additional Contact Client Portal Access

1. Return to the relevant Project.
2. Open Client Access.
3. The newly added contact should now appear in the list of available users.

Select the checkbox next to the designer or architect’s name.

Choose the appropriate access level:

1. Full Access – Allows the user to access the available Client Portal features with full permissions.
2. Read Only Access – Allows the user to view information without making changes.
3. Provide the user with their Client Portal login details.

The designer or architect can now access the project through the Client Portal using the credentials provided.
