Certificates & Expiring Certificate Reminders

We’ve added a useful option to help manage certificates directly in Directory. This feature allows you to automatically send notifications before a certificate expires, helping your team stay compliant and avoid last-minute issues.

What’s New?

Expiring Certificate Reminders
You can now set reminders for insurance and certificate expirations based on your preferred timeline. Notifications will automatically be sent to the assigned Certificate Manager and contacts.

Options available:

  • Day Of Expiration
  • 30 Days Prior
  • 60 Days Prior

Why This Matters

Keeping track of certificate and license expirations is critical. With automatic reminders, your team no longer needs to manually monitor dates — ensuring deadlines are met, compliance is maintained, and risks are reduced.

How to Access It

  1. Go to Menu → Directory

  2. Select an item from the list

  3. Click Licenses and Certifications

  4. Select the gear/settings icon

  5. Click the pencil (edit) icon under Expiring Certificate Reminders

  6. Choose the reminder intervals you want to apply (Day Of, 30 Days Prior, 60 Days Prior)

  7. Click Save

Best Practice

  • Always assign a Certificate Manager to ensure responsibility is clear.
  • Use multiple reminder intervals (e.g., 30 Days + Day Of) for added security.
  • Review certificate data regularly to confirm all records are up to date.
