File and Photo Upload Limits

When working with files and photos in the system, there are two different types of limits to be aware of:

1. Files Displayed in PDF Templates (Forms, Estimates, Daily Logs, Invoices, etc.)

  • The current limit is 120 files that can be shown or displayed on a single PDF.
  • Exceeding this limit may cause errors when viewing, downloading, or emailing the PDF.
  • Example: If you attach more than 120 photos to a Daily Log, the system may fail when generating the PDF.

2. Uploading Files and Photos into the System (Files and Photos Modules)

  • Uploads are subject to two limits:
    • File size limit: 150 MB per upload.
    • File count limit: Maximum of 50 files per upload.
  • If either limit is exceeded, the upload will fail.
  • Example: If you try to upload 75 photos at once, the system will not accept the upload.

Key Takeaways

  • Files in PDFs: Maximum of 120 files per PDF (e.g., daily logs, estimates, invoices).
  • Uploads into system: Max 50 files per upload and 150 MB total.

We recommend keeping within these limits to ensure smooth uploading, viewing, and PDF generation.
