How are Roles used and how are they connected to the Directory?

Roles determine what users can access and do inside Contractor Foreman.

How Roles work:

  • Roles define permissions for every module (view, create, edit, delete).
  • Directory users are assigned a Role that controls what they see.

Steps to manage Roles:

  1. Go to Settings → Roles.

  1. Select → Roles List.

  1. Create or edit a role.
  2. Set permissions for each module.

  1. Save the role.

 

Connecting roles to users:

  1. Go to Directory → Employees.

  1. Select an employee.

  1. Assign a Role from the dropdown.
