Why Is This Important?

Adding marketing activities to your calendar helps you track leads, follow-ups, and client interactions in one centralized place. Since you can create these tasks from almost any module, you can capture opportunities instantly — without switching screens. This improves team coordination, time management, and accountability, ensuring that no opportunity is ever missed.

Option 1

You can add a Marketing Activity (or any sales-related task) from almost anywhere within Contractor Foreman. This flexibility allows you to stay productive and organized no matter where you are in the platform.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Click the “+ Task” button located at the bottom right corner of the screen (as shown in the screenshot below).
  2. A pop-up window will appear on the right side of the screen.
  3. In the Task Type field, select Sales Task.
  4. Fill in all the required details — such as title, due date, description, and assigned employee.
  5. Once complete, click Save.

That’s it! The task will now appear in the Calendar of the person it was assigned to.

 Alternative Option

You can also add a marketing activity directly from within a Lead or Opportunity.
To do this, open the Lead or Opportunity record and add a Task related to it. When you create the task this way, it will automatically be added as a Sales Activity linked to that specific Lead or Opportunity.

View the Marketing Activity on the Calendar

After creating the Sales Task, open the Calendar and make sure the appropriate sales task filter is enabled:

  • All Sales Tasks — displays all Sales Tasks.
  • My Sales Tasks — displays Sales Tasks assigned to you.

The activity will appear on the Calendar according to its assigned user and scheduled date.

Tip: Make sure the task has a due date and is assigned to the appropriate employee so it can be properly tracked on the Calendar.
