Create a Ticket Schedule a Training

You can mark an employee as unavailable by creating a Time Off Request for them. Once the request is approved, the employee will be shown as out of work in the Crew Schedule.
This can be done for employees who have access to Contractor Foreman as well as employees who do not have system login access.

Create a Time Off Request

1. Go to Directory from the Main Menu.
2. Open the profile of the employee who will be out of work.
3. From the left-side menu, select Time Off Requests.
4. Click + Time Off Request in the upper-right corner.
5. Complete the required information:

  • Type: Select the appropriate time-off type.
  • Reason: Enter a brief reason for the request.
  • Start Date: Select the first day of the employee’s time off.
  • End Date: Select the last day of the employee’s time off.
  • All Day: Select this option if the employee will be out for the full workday.
  • Start Time / End Time: If the time off is not for the entire day, enter the applicable hours.
  • Notes: Add any additional information if needed.
    6. Review the Total Time Off and Work Days Impacted displayed at the bottom of the form.
    7. Click Submit Request.

After the Request Is Approved

  • Once the Time Off Request is approved, the employee’s availability will be reflected in the Crew Schedule. This helps prevent the employee from being scheduled for work during their approved time off.

Important Note: Time Off Requests should be recorded for all employees, including employees who do not have Contractor Foreman login access. This keeps crew availability accurate and helps prevent scheduling conflicts.

Tip: Keep employee time-off information updated before creating or assigning new shifts so your Crew Schedule accurately reflects who is available to work.
