Tracking past due Bills helps you identify unpaid vendor and subcontractor payments that require attention. Contractor Foreman provides a Past Due Bills widget and allows you to sort the Bills list by Due Date to identify overdue items.

Option 1: Check the “Past Due Bills” Widget
1. Go to the Bills module.
2. Look for the Past Due Bills widget above the Bills list.
3. The widget displays Bills that are past their due dates, including the due date, vendor, Bill number, and amount.

The widget provides a quick way to see overdue Bills without searching through the entire Bills list.

Option 2: Sort the Bills List by Due Date

You can also review overdue Bills directly from the Bills list.

  1. Scroll down to the Bills list.
  2. Locate the Due Date column.
  3. Click Due Date to sort the Bills by their due dates.
  4. Review the dates shown in the list to identify Bills whose due dates have already passed.
  5. Check the Balance Due column to determine whether there is still an outstanding amount.

Sorting by Due Date gives you a broader view of Bills and makes it easier to identify older Bills that may require payment.

 Use the Open Filter

The Bills page also provides Open, Paid, and All filters above the Bills list.

To focus on Bills that still have an outstanding balance:

  1. Select Open.
  2. Review the Bills displayed in the list.
  3. Sort the list by Due Date.
  4. Look for Bills with due dates that have already passed.
  5. Check Balance Due to confirm whether an amount is still outstanding.

This combination makes it easier to focus on unpaid Bills rather than Bills that have already been paid.

Quick Summary

There are two convenient ways to identify past due Bills in Contractor Foreman:

  1. Past Due Bills widget: Quickly review recently overdue Bills.
  2. Bills list + Due Date: Sort the Bills by Due Date for a broader review.
  3. Open filter: Focus on Bills that are still unpaid.
  4. Balance Due: Confirm whether an amount remains outstanding.

Using the Past Due Bills widget for a quick overview and the Due Date + Open filter for a more detailed review makes it easier to monitor overdue payments and stay on top of vendor and subcontractor obligations.
