In Contractor Foreman, bid items are imported from the estimate into the bid package, and certain fields in the items cannot be modified or items cannot be manually added in the bid package itself if the Bid Package is set to Final.

Edit the Estimate Line Items:

If you need to add more details or descriptions to the bid items, you can do so by editing the relevant line items in the Bid Package before saving the Bid Package with the status Final.

Attach Files and Photos:

To provide supplementary information, you can attach files, documents, or photos related to the bid in the Files tab of the bid package.

This allows you to include detailed drawings, specifications, or other reference materials that will help clarify the bid items for the bidder.

Input Terms, Inclusions, Exclusions, and Clarifications:

In the Terms tab of the bid package, you can provide specific terms, inclusions, exclusions, or other clarifications that apply to the entire bid package. This is a useful section for communicating important project details, requirements, or conditions that need to be understood by the bidder.

By utilizing these options, you can ensure that the bidder receives all the necessary information to accurately interpret and respond to the bid package.
