Archiving Service Tickets is a great way to keep your dashboard organized and focus only on active or pending items, while still keeping records accessible for future reference.

Step 1: Open the Service Ticket

  1. Go to the Service Tickets module from the main menu.
  2. Open the specific Service Ticket you want to archive.

Step 2: Archive the Service Ticket

  1. Click on the three-dot icon (⋯) in the top-right corner of the screen to open the action menu.
  2. Look for the file/archive icon and click “Archive.”
  3. The Service Ticket will now be moved out of your active list and stored in the archived records.

Archiving is useful when a service ticket has been fully completed and invoiced, or simply when you no longer need to display it on your active dashboard but still want to keep a record of it.

Step 3: View or Unarchive Archived Service Tickets

If you ever need to retrieve or review an archived Service Ticket:

  1. Go to the Service Tickets dashboard.
  2. Click on the funnel (filter) icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Under Record Status, switch from Active to Archived or All.
  4. Once you locate the archived Service Ticket, open it and use the three-dot icon again to Unarchive it if needed.

This makes it easy to bring archived records back into the active list if they require follow-up or reactivation.

Why Archiving Matters

  • Keeps your dashboard clean and organized.
  • Ensures you don’t accidentally delete important records.
  • Makes it easy to backtrack past service history for audits, disputes, or customer follow-ups.
