In Contractor Foreman, managing access to specific projects for employees or contractors can be done once you allow login access to them. By default, employees and contractors can view all projects, but you can modify their access to only certain projects when needed.

First, navigate to the Directory module from the main menu. Here, you’ll find all your contacts, including employees and contractors. Scroll through the contact list or use filters to find the employee or contractor whose project access you want to manage. Click on their name to go to their profile.

In the employee’s or contractor’s profile, look for the widget called Access Details. Within this widget, you’ll find an option labelled Viewable Projects.

By default, the Viewable Projects setting is set to “All,” meaning the employee or contractor can access all active projects. To restrict this, change the setting from All to Some. A list of projects will appear, allowing you to select the specific projects you want the employee or contractor to have access to. After selecting the relevant projects, click Save to confirm the changes.

In order to allow specific project access, the employee or contractor must be a user in Contractor Foreman. This means they need to have login access and their own account. Contractor Foreman does not allow you to block specific projects while granting access to others. If you need to limit access, you’ll have to manually select the specific projects you want the employee or contractor to access under the “Some” option.
