Customizing the status colors in the Inspections Module of Contractor Foreman makes it easier for you and your team to quickly identify the state of each inspection at a glance. Instead of reading through each record, the color-coding provides a visual workflow tool that helps keep projects organized.

How to assign colors to Inspection Statuses:

  1. Go to the Inspections Module.

  2. Click on the Settings icon (the gear icon located at the top of the screen, just below your name).

  3. Under settings, locate the Custom Status Labels section.

  4. Click the green pencil icon to unlock the settings.

  5. You will see the four inspection statuses:

    • Draft

    • Reinspect

    • Fail

    • Pass

  6. Double-click on the current color for a status. A color palette will open.

  7. Select your preferred color and save.

Why is this useful?

Assigning colors helps you and your team immediately recognize the inspection status without needing to read the text. For example:

  • ✅ Green = Pass

  • ❌ Red = Fail

  • 🔄 Yellow = Reinspect

  • 📘 Blue = Draft

Of course, you can choose any color scheme that fits your company’s standards or preferences. Contractor Foreman gives you the flexibility to make the system yours.

In short: By customizing your inspection status colors, you streamline your workflow, reduce confusion, and ensure everyone on your team knows exactly where each inspection stands at a glance.
