Creating a schedule directly from your Estimate in Contractor Foreman reduces manual data entry and ensures that all costed work items are accounted for in your project schedule.

When you manually change the Estimate Status to Approved, the system will display a pop-up window with several options.

Select the option “Create Schedule from Estimate?” and click Confirm to proceed. Contractor Foreman will automatically generate schedule tasks based on the line items in your estimate, allowing for a smoother transition from planning to execution.

However, this feature is not Available for Online-Approved Estimates. If a customer approves the estimate online, the “Create Schedule from Estimate” option will not be triggered.

You can manually change the Estimate Status back to Estimating and then re-approve it to get the pop-up box again. However, it is not recommended to repeatedly change the estimate status after approval, as it may affect reporting and workflow accuracy.

By utilising this feature, you can enhance project planning efficiency and ensure that all estimated work is properly scheduled.
