How do I create an Estimate from the Lead record?

To create an estimate from a Lead record in Contractor Foreman, there are two methods you can follow. Both methods allow you to seamlessly generate an estimate directly from a lead.

Method 1: Through the Directory Module

Start by going to the Main Menu. From there, navigate to the Directory module. At the top of the contact list, you’ll find a Dropdown Box located to the right. This dropdown allows you to filter the list of contacts. Select the option to filter by Leads so that only your leads will be shown in the directory.

Once you see the list of leads, locate the specific lead record for which you wish to create an estimate. In the right-hand corner of the lead record, click the 3 Dots (Options Menu). A list of actions will appear, and from these options, choose Create Estimate. This action will create an estimate and take you to the estimates module. From there, you can continue with the newly created estimate.

Method 2: Through the Leads Module

The second method involves using the Leads Module directly. Go to the Main Menu and select the Leads module. Once inside, you will see the list of all your leads. As with the first method, locate the lead record for which you want to create an estimate. Click the 3 Dots (Options Menu) to the right of the lead record and select Create an Estimate from the list of available options.

Both methods will take you to the estimates module with a new estimate, where you can populate the necessary details and complete the estimate. This process ensures that you can quickly and efficiently generate estimates based on your lead records, helping you respond to potential clients with ease.
