Creating and managing crews in Contractor Foreman helps you organize your team and makes it easier to assign and manage groups of employees or contractors.

When workers are grouped into a **Crew**, a Foreman or Lead can manage the entire group more efficiently instead of selecting individual team members each time.

Steps to Create or Edit a Crew

 1. Open the Crew Schedule Module

From the Main Menu, open Crew Schedule.

2. Open Crew Settings

Click the Gear Icon in the upper-right corner of the Crew Schedule screen.

This opens the Crew Schedule settings, where you can manage your existing crews and create new ones.

3. Open the Crews Tab

Select the Crews tab.

Here, you can view and manage your existing crews.

  •  To edit an existing crew, click the **green pencil/edit icon** next to the crew.
  • To create a new crew, click **+ Add Crew**.

 4. Enter the Crew Details

When creating or editing a crew, enter or update the required information, such as:

  • Crew Name:Enter a name that clearly identifies the crew.
  • Status: Set the crew to Active** if you want it to be available for use.
  • Show in Crew Schedule: Enable this option if the crew should appear in the Crew Schedule.
  • Leader: Select the Foreman or Lead responsible for the crew.
  • Description: Add any useful information about the crew, such as its role or responsibilities.

 5. Select Crew Members

Under the **Employees** section, select the employees you want to add to the crew.

You can search for employees using the search bar and select them from the list. Selected contacts will appear in the **Currently Selected** panel on the right.

Contractors can also be selected from the **Contractors** section when applicable.

 6. Review the Selected Members

Before saving, review the **Currently Selected** list on the right side to make sure the correct employees and contractors have been added.

You can remove a selected contact if needed before saving.

 7. Save the Crew

Once all crew information and members have been selected, click Save

The crew will then be available in the Crew Schedule for scheduling and management.
