In Contractor Foreman, all projects are set to accept and track time through Time Cards by default. This means that as soon as a project is created, users can start logging time for workers, tasks, or activities related to that project. However, you may prefer to prevent completed projects from appearing in the Time Cards module. This is particularly useful when managing multiple projects and ensuring only relevant, active projects are listed for time tracking.

If you do need to, begin by navigating to the Projects Module from the main menu. Once inside the Projects Module, you will find a Settings icon in the top right of the screen to open project settings. In the Settings area, locate the field labeled Project Selection Options. This setting controls which projects appear in various modules after the Project has been marked as Completed, including Time Cards.

Under the Project Selection Options, you will find a checkbox for time cards which ensure that completed projects do not appear when selecting a project for time cards. After making these adjustments, be sure to save the settings. From this point forward, only active projects will appear in the Time Cards module, while completed projects will remain hidden from the drop-down options.
