Adding Terms & Conditions to your Work Orders is more than just a formality, it’s a way to set clear expectations, protect your company legally, and ensure all parties involved are aligned. By specifying payment terms, warranty details, inclusions, and exclusions, you reduce the chances of disputes and build trust with your clients.

Why are Terms & Conditions important?

  • Clarity: Everyone involved understands the scope, responsibilities, and limitations.

  • Protection: Provides a legal safeguard in case of disagreements.

  • Consistency: Ensures that every Work Order follows the same professional standard.

  • Professionalism: Shows clients that your company has a structured and reliable process.

How to enter Terms & Conditions

  1. Open the Work Order.

  2. On the left-hand panel, click on the Terms section.

  3. Enter your project-specific Terms & Conditions directly into the provided field.

Setting Default Terms & Conditions

If your company uses the same Terms & Conditions across all Work Orders, you can save time by setting them as defaults:

  1. Click on the gear icon at the top-right corner of the screen (below the user’s name).

  2. Navigate to Work Order Settings.

  3. Enter your standard Terms & Conditions so they automatically populate in every new Work Order.

This flexibility allows you to either customize terms per project or maintain consistent terms company-wide, depending on your needs.
