How do I import specific estimate items into a Work Order?

Contractor Foreman makes it easy to save time and avoid double entry by importing items directly from an Estimate into a Work Order.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the Work Order you want to edit.

2. Scroll down to the Details section.

3. Click on Add Item to Work Order.

4. From the drop-down menu, select Import from Estimate.

5. A pop-up window will appear on the right side of your screen.

6. Browse through the Estimate and pick the item(s) you want to include in this Work Order.

7. Click Save & Close, and you’re done.

By importing from the Estimate, you’re keeping your records consistent and eliminating the need to re-type line items. This not only saves time but also reduces errors, since everything flows from the original Estimate you already built for the project.
