Contractor Foreman makes it easy to track which files are shared with your client and provides tools to control access to those files.
Navigate to the project for which you want to check shared files.

Once inside the project, click on the Client Access tab. Scroll down to the section “Shared Files & Photos”. Here, you’ll see a grid view of the files shared with the client.

Notably, files shared with clients can also be attached to submissions through other modules. For instance, if you submit an estimate or invoice that includes attached files, those files may still be visible to the client in the submitted estimate PDF file), you just need to keep in mind the following:

For each file listed, Contractor Foreman provides a simple visual indicator to show whether the file has been shared with the client. In the top right corner of each file’s thumbnail, you’ll see a person-shaped icon. This icon becomes visible when you hover your mouse over a file.

If the person icon is highlighted, the file has been shared with your client.
If the person icon is not highlighted, the file is hidden from the client.
If the person icon is highlighted and you want to stop sharing the file, click on the icon. This will hide the file from the client portal moving forward. If the person icon is not highlighted and you want to share the file with your client, click on the icon to toggle sharing on.

Also, the toggle button in the Files & Photos tab also controls visibility in the Client Portal.
