Keeping your Incident and Employee Write-Up records properly linked is essential for maintaining accurate documentation, accountability, and compliance. It ensures that all events related to a specific employee are stored in one place, helping management make informed decisions, identify recurring issues, and demonstrate due diligence during audits or reviews.

When adding either an Incident Record or an Employee Write-Up, you’ll find a field labeled “People Involved.”

By selecting the employee(s) in this field, you are automatically linking the Incident or Write-Up to that employee’s profile in the Employee Directory.

This link allows you to:

  • Keep all related records organized under the employee’s history.
  • Track repeated safety or behavioral events.
  • Maintain clear, consistent, and compliant documentation.

In short, selecting a person under People Involved automatically connects the Incident or Write-Up to that employee’s record, ensuring everything stays properly referenced and easy to review.
