How do I search for a file within a specific Project?

You can easily search for files and photos in Contractor Foreman, but it’s important to know where this feature is available. The search function is currently available in the main Files and Photos module, not inside the Project-level Files and Photos section.

Steps to Search for a File

1. Go to the Files and Photos module from the left-hand menu.
2. At the top-left corner of the screen, you’ll see a search bar.
3. Type in any keyword, tag, note, or part of the file name related to the document you’re looking for.
4. The system will instantly display all matching files, helping you locate your document quickly.

Important Note

At this time, the search bar is not available within the Files and Photos section inside a specific Project.
If you want to search for a file related to a project, use the main Files and Photos module instead. This will still display all files across projects, allowing you to find what you need much faster.

Tip

Use clear file names, tags, and notes when uploading documents — this will make them easier to locate later using the search bar.
