Time cards created in Contractor Foreman are pushed directly to QuickBooks. However, it’s important to note that this is a one-way sync — time entries do not transfer from QuickBooks back to Contractor Foreman.

What Triggers the Sync?

Any of the following time tracking methods in Contractor Foreman will initiate the sync to QuickBooks automatically:

  • Time Card (individual entry)

  • Crew Card

  • Crew Sheet

As soon as an entry is saved in Contractor Foreman, the data is sent to QuickBooks.

What Data is Transferred to QuickBooks?

The following fields are included in the sync:

  • Start Date – The date the time was worked

  • Name – The employee’s name

  • Duration – Total hours worked

  • Customer/Subcustomer – The associated Project in Contractor Foreman, mapped as a Subcustomer/Project in QuickBooks

  • Product/Services – The Parent Code and Child Code from Contractor Foreman, matched to the appropriate Product/Service Item in QuickBooks

This provides accurate and detailed job costing in QuickBooks, directly linked to the hours worked and project assignments in Contractor Foreman.

Using time cards in Contractor Foreman is:

  • Fast – Entries sync automatically upon creation
