The Opportunities module in Contractor Foreman includes both a List View and a Kanban (Card) View, which allow you to visually track your sales pipeline. This feature helps you organize and manage your potential jobs by stages, from the first contact with a lead to closing the deal.

While Contractor Foreman is primarily a construction management system, not a CRM, it includes some CRM-like features to help you stay organized and make your sales process more efficient.

To customize your Opportunity stages, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Opportunities module.
  • Click on the Settings (gear icon) at the top right corner of the screen.

  • Under Custom Status Labels, click the green pencil icon to edit.
  • Rename the stages according to your workflow — for example:
    • Received
    • In Review
    • Estimating
    • Proposal Sent
    • Negotiation
    • Won
    • Lost

You can name these stages however it best fits your business and sales process.

Why this feature is valuable:
Customizing your Opportunity stages gives you a clear visual workflow of where each potential project stands. It helps your team quickly identify priorities, track progress, and focus efforts on opportunities that are more likely to convert, ultimately making your sales process smoother, faster, and more organized.
