What appears on the My Day Widget

Purpose:

To know how the “My Day” widget works and what is the information that appears there.

Background:

“My Day” feature is a widget that will show you all the tasks, assignments, meetings, etc. that have been assigned to you for that specific day. My Day Widget helps you to keep focused on those important tasks that have been scheduled for today’s date so you do not miss any dead lines.

How do I enable “My Day” widget on my Dashboard?

On the dashboard, click on the white button that says “Customize”. It is right below the typical Video, Bulb and Gear Icons as shown on the image below (top right side of your screen).

Then, click on the “Manage Widgets” drop down menu which is on the top left side of your screen and make sure the check box for “Dashboard: My Day” is enabled or checked.

What appears on My Day widget:

1. Activities assigned to you using the Crew Schedule.
2. Tasks assigned to you using the Gantt Chart.
3. Sales activities such as follow ups, calls, meetings, etc. assigned to you under the Leads and/or Customer’s profile. (Minute 4:40)
4. To Do’s assigned to you.
5. Opportunities where you are the point of contact.
6. Jobs assigned to you using the Service Tickets.
7. Any Calendar activity under your name.

**Remember that the date or due date in any of the modules above has to match today’s day in order to be shown in “My Day” widget.
