A “$0 Item” in Contractor Foreman can be used as a placeholder for items that you don’t have a price yet.

You can add a line item without adding a price to keep it as a placeholder and at a later stage, you can input the price. You can also use these items for your bid packages when you get a price from a vendor/sub-contractor, you can update the price directly from there.

Within the Items tab of your estimate, you have the flexibility to show or hide $0 Items based on your preference.
